What families abroad usually set up
Most NRI orders start the same way: a parent has had a fall, a surgery or a discharge, and the son or daughter abroad becomes the care organizer overnight. The first order is usually a month of tape-style diapers in the correct size, a pack of underpads and body wipes, and, where the parent cannot walk to the toilet, a commode wheelchair. That setup covers the first month of most home care situations.

A relative or home nurse can take it in two minutes with a tailor's tape, and our size guide shows exactly how, including for a bedridden user.
